From Holiday Cards to Listing Day
Some listings don’t come from lead forms or cold calls. They come from real relationships—and sometimes, a whole stack of Christmas cards.
We first met Jill and Mark over a decade ago when we helped their close friends buy a home in Southwest Portland. Over the years, we stayed in touch—an occasional coffee, a few check-ins when the market changed, and always a holiday card. They weren’t ready to sell, but we knew they’d reach out when the time was right.
That call came this spring.
“We’re finally ready,” Jill said. “And we knew we’d only do this with you.”
From there, it was all hands on deck. We walked them through pre-listing prep, connected them with trusted vendors, and made sure they felt supported at every step. There was emotion—after all, this was the home they’d raised their kids in—but there was also confidence. They knew we had their back.
That trust didn’t happen overnight. It came from showing up year after year without expecting anything in return. That’s what makes this work so meaningful.
This is what we love about Portland real estate—it’s personal. It’s built on care, consistency, and community. Whether it takes ten weeks or ten years, we’re here when you’re ready.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling in the Portland area, we’d love to be part of your story.
